Wall Mounted Air Conditioning Units
A wall mounted split system air conditioning unit comprises of two elements - an evaporator fitted internally to the room and a condenser placed outside the building. The internal unit of the air conditioner is fitted to a metal mounting plate on a wall in the room to be cooled or heated. The air conditioning external unit is situated outside the building, and can be wall mounted on brackets, placed at ground level or located on a flat roof. The external unit, or condenser, draws heat from the room and dissipates it outside, along with any condensation that has built-up inside the system, whilst the internal unit provides cooling or heating, depending upon the time of year.

Multi Split Air Conditioning Units
Multi Split Systems can have up to three internal units connected to one external unit. These systems are ideal if you are looking to heat and cool a number of rooms.
Each internal unit can run independently from one another meaning you can have one heating in one room with cooling in other rooms if required. This is achieved by having three compressors housed in the condenser, making each refrigerant circuit independent. You can also choose to connect 1, 2 or 3 evaporators at any time, giving great expansion possibilities.

Ceiling Mounted Air Conditioning Units

Mobile Air Conditioning Units
Mobile air conditioning units have the advantage of not requiring installation - simply plug them in and they will work, however they are generally noisier than fitted split system air conditioning units. Most mobile air conditioning units require the internal reservoir to be emptied manually. However, with the units that Koolzone supply the water sprayed as a mist into the exhaust duct and out of the room. Mobile air conditioning units are best used in environments where it is not convenient to have an installed split system. The mobile air conditioning unit is supplied with full digital remote control, enabling you to set the desired temperature, and also program the on/off times as required.
